Type B Towing Trailer (Air Brakes)

The Permaquip Type B Towing Trailer is designed as a vehicle-towed, load-bearing rolling platform for on-track use. It is also compatible with a range of Permaquip optional inserts.

To facilitate handling and transportation to and from the site, the Type B Towing Trailer is divided into sections. Each trailer is equipped with either a fail-safe hydraulic braking system or a fail-safe air braking system, which, when used with an appropriate towing vehicle, ensures safe operation. The hydraulic or air hose, permanently attached to the trailer, features a quick-release coupling for easy connection to the towing/propelling vehicle or the next trailer in the train.

The Type B Towing Trailer chassis is powder-coated yellow for high visibility on track and is equipped with red flashing LED lights to enhance visibility in low-light conditions.
