Type B Gas Bottle Trailer (Air Brakes)

The Permaquip Type B Gas Bottle Trailer is designed as a vehicle-towed/propelled, load-bearing rolling platform for on-track use. It can carry up to four oxygen or nitrogen cylinders and one propane cylinder.

The Type B Gas Bottle Trailer is divided into sections to facilitate handling and transportation to and from the site.

Each Gas Bottle Insert is equipped with either a fail-safe hydraulic braking system or a fail-safe air braking system when used in conjunction with the Type B Towing Trailer halves and an appropriate Permaquip road-rail vehicle. The hydraulic or air hose is permanently attached to the Gas Bottle Insert and features a quick-release coupling for easy connection to the towing/propelling vehicle or the next trailer in the train.
