Proud to support the ‘Message in a Bottle’ initiative

Permaquip is supporting a service that could potentially save lives.

Message in a Bottle’ is a project designed by the Lions Clubs International to help emergency services assist people who become ill at home.

A crib sheet of the patient’s medical information is kept in the plastic pot, and stored in the fridge door. A small sticker on the inside of the front door and the outside of the fridge alerts people to the message contained inside.

Scott Harrison said, “It’s such a brilliant idea. In an emergency, the message lets the ambulance crew quickly know what medical issues their patient already has. That knowledge can help them deliver the most appropriate treatment for the person’s needs. Saving time and potentially saving lives”.

Permaquip and Aquarius Rail will be distributing ‘Message in a Bottle’ pots at Rail Live, visit us on Stand F11 to pick up your free pot.
