Permaquip Relocation

Over the last two years the rail industry has undergone considerable change, in both its operating and environmental responsibilities.

As a long-established manufacturing specialist for the rail industry, Permaquip constantly review the needs of our customers and readdress our responsibilities. As times have changed, so have we.

Permaquip acquired Aquarius Railroad Technologies Limited, located in North Yorkshire, in June 2021.

The acquisition allowed for additional facilities to be made available to Permaquip, which provided exciting opportunities to address environmental advances in our manufacturing outputs.

In reviewing Permaquip business objectives and environmental commitments, the decision was made to relocate Permaquip to stand alongside Aquarius in one geographical location. This provides exciting opportunities including:

Improved manufacturing facility: specially designed to allow for a low carbon output
Dedicated test and exhibition area: including an on-site test track, to showcase products and services
Training: bespoke familiarisation and training area for products and maintenance courses
Seamless partnering: full collaboration with our sister company Aquarius Rail

There is a lot to look forward to in the next few years for Permaquip and Aquarius Rail.
